Family-Friendly Skating Experience

Our program is designed for families to enjoy skating together while catering to different age groups and skill levels. During each session, children and adults will skate simultaneously but in separate designated areas within the rink. This setup ensures that each group receives instruction tailored to their needs while sharing the fun of skating as a family.​

Who Can Join?

βœ… Ages 3 & Up – Little ones, kids, teens, and adults are all welcome!
βœ… Beginners & Intermediate Skaters – No prior experience needed!
βœ… First Lesson? We provide skates for your first class if needed!
βœ… Great for Fitness – A fun way to stay active, improve balance, and build endurance.

Experience: No prior skating experience.​

Focus: Introduction to skating fundamentals.​

Skills Covered:

  • Standing and balancing on skates.​

  • Learning to fall safely and get up.​

Goal: Build confidence and comfort on skates.​

🟠 Orange Group – Adult Skaters (Beginners to Advanced)
  • Experience: Adults of all skill levels, from novices to seasoned skaters.​

  • Focus: Providing a supportive environment tailored to adult learners.​

  • Skills Covered:

    • Customized instruction based on individual skill levels.​

    • Balance, coordination, and fitness exercises.​

    • Advanced techniques for experienced adult skaters.​

  • Goal: Enhance skating skills in a comfortable, adult-focused setting.​

Note: Participants will be assessed during the first session to ensure proper group placement. This structure aligns with established skating programs that categorize skill levels to provide targeted instruction and progression .​

🟣 Purple Group – Pre-Competitive Skaters
  • Experience: Advanced skaters aiming to transition into competitive disciplines.​

  • Focus: Mastering specialized skills for sports like hockey and artistic skating.​

  • Skills Covered:

    • Basic jumps and spins.​

    • Power skating drills.​

    • Hockey-specific maneuvers.​

  • Goal: Prepare for competitive skating environments.​

    • Turning and maneuvering.​

    • Backward skating basics.​

  • Goal: Prepare for more advanced skating challenges.​

🟑 Yellow Group – Learning to Glide
  • Experience: Basic balance achieved; can stand and move slightly.​

  • Focus: Developing smooth forward movement.​

  • Skills Covered:

    • Gliding with control.​

    • Introduction to stopping techniques.​

    • Maintaining balance during movement.​

  • Goal: Enhance stability and control while moving.​
